Super rare 1950's-60's AudioSears Corp Model 1938SG Dynamic Microphone, works!!

     Offering a vintage and super rare late 50's-early 60's ring-spring mounted Model 1938SG Dynamic Microphone from AudioSears Corp out of Stamford, NY. AudioSears produced heavy-duty communications gear for aviation and military use. It was part of a rugged-grade intercom system mounted in military armored vehicles like the M60 Patton and early A1 Abrams battle tanks, along with industrial plant/naval communication bays, and Federal Civil Defense bunkers.

     We've spring-suspended this microphone within a modern 6" double-aluminum ring, and mounted it to a heavily-weighted adjustable-height desk stand, and hardwired a 3' cable to male XLR plug. This mic is compatible with any modern amplifier or mixer, no external power required. The audio is incredible clear and strong...you can hear a voice sample recorded on this mic by checking out the listing video. Mic with stand measures 15", to 20" when extended. The ring can also be threaded to any other microphone stand if so desired. Would make an awesome on-stage performance microphone depicting a time of early radio!
