For sale is a 1987 Fender American Vintage Reissue ’57 Stratocaster in Vintage White

This is an early American Vintage Reissue and has developed some great natural aging and playing wear over nearly 40 years.

Internal factory markings on the neck and body are consistent with a March 1987 build.

The guitar appears to retain its original pickups, electronics and hardware, including the vintage-style bridge and tuners.

The only maintenance change I am aware of is the pickup-height surgical tubing, which was replaced because the original tubing had deteriorated with age. No other modifications are known to me.

Overall, the guitar is in good played condition for a 1987 instrument and shows honest age and use.

There is noticeable natural playing wear on the maple fretboard. There are also several small finish chips around the neck-pocket area. The body also shows natural finish checking and light cosmetic wear consistent with its age.

The finish, fretboard and hardware have been left as they are rather than attempting to touch up or hide the guitar's natural aging.

The guitar comes with the pictured G&G brown hardshell case with orange plush interior. It is a high-quality vintage-style case but is not the guitar's original case.
