Another quality Guitar from Lovies Guitars!

Lovies Guitars is excited to present this Vintage! 1946 Martin D-18 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar finished in Natural. This pre-war Martin D-18 is a fantastic example of one of Martin's most iconic dreadnought designs, offering the powerful projection, woody midrange, and dry, articulate character that make these early D-18s so highly desirable. A 1946 Martin with this kind of overall shape is a special opportunity for both players and collectors.

The dreadnought body delivers the volume and projection associated with the D-18 while the mahogany back and sides provide a focused, balanced response with plenty of vintage warmth. This guitar has good action and remains a very playable example of a nearly 80-year-old Martin.

The guitar has a small maple cap on the bridge plate area, and the bridge has been reset. There are two cleats on the sides from minor cracks that were professionally repaired. There are currently no cracks on the back or top. The guitar comes with a Non-Original Hardshell Case (HSC).

Condition: 8.8/10 - Very Good. Great shape for its age with good action. Features a small maple cap on the body plate and a professionally reset bridge. Two cleats are present on the sides from minor cracks that were professionally repaired. No cracks are present on the back or top. Overall, a very cool and well-preserved vintage Martin with honest repairs consistent with its age.
