If you’re here you probably know all about these preamps and just how magical they can be. The AML clones are, arguably, the closest reproduction of the best Neve preamp/EQ ever made. And it’s made to work in just two 500 series slots!
I will add that this guy is not too friendly to those with big fingers. I ended up giving the faceplate a couple small scratches (see pictures) getting it together. The smaller knobs can be a bit hard to turn as there is so much packed into such a small space.
This preamp is a perfect choice for just about anything you throw at it. It will give you a record ready sound the second you plug in.
