Up for sale is a Fender Select Telecaster HH from 2013, part of Fender's short-lived Select Series with premium materials and modern specs.

Introduced in 2013, this model was produced for only a short period and features a chambered alder body with a beautiful Malaysian blackwood top, a highly figured birdseye maple neck and fingerboard and a pair of great sounding Wide Range Special humbuckers. The result is a light and resonant instrument, other than extremely versatile to play.

The guitar is equipped with a three-way switch and Fender's S-1 switching system for more tonal possibilities. The neck has a comfortable Modern C profile, 9.5"-14" compund radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets, while the deluxe staggered locking tuners make string changes and tuning stability very straightforward.

The original fixed bridge has been professionally replaced with a Gotoh tremolo system. The body routing was carried out with precision and the bridge is properly set up. The tremolo works smoothly and as intended, giving this already versatile Telecaster an additional range of expression.

The guitar has just been professionally set-up and checked: the neck is straight, the truss rod works correctly and it plays very well across the entire fretboard, with no buzzing or unwanted noise. All electronics are working as intended and the guitar is ready to play.

Cosmetically, it shows various scratches, nicks and dings, mainly on the body. This telecaster has been a well-played and well-loved instrument, but these are purely cosmetic: the guitar remains in excellent functional condition.

It comes with its original Fender Select tweed case; one of the case latches is not working, but the case is otherwise usable.
