Occasionally I use sorting out pots to get away from being on the sales floor, mainly because I can. I have a Folgers coffee can filled with old pots, and these are our offerings today. This is a pair of 1973 pots, soldered together with the original .022 tone cap. I can make out one date, 137 7325, twenty fifth week of 1973, the other has solder over the date code, but looks like factory wiring on the cap so figure they are pretty close if not exact date wise. Get a mid 300K reading on both. Can't make out the Gibson part number, I see the 70 but the rest is under the solder. They have a shorter shaft, would be great for an SG or 335. The tone pot has one leg missing, which I have seen a lot of on factory Gibson pots, I have another listed that is the same. It was a tone pot thing. Thanks for looking!
