2004 Gibson Custom Shop Authentic SG – Aged Cherry

Beautiful 2004 Gibson Custom Shop Authentic SG in its original configuration.

Originally finished in Cherry with Gibson's VOS treatment, the finish has naturally aged and faded over 20+ years into a beautiful darker amber/brown tone with a subtle Koa-like appearance. The one-piece mahogany body has some natural figuring that becomes more noticeable with the aged finish.

The guitar has some cosmetic marks and signs of wear, which I have tried to show clearly in the photos. Considering the age of the guitar, they are relatively minor, and together with the naturally aged/faded VOS finish, they give the guitar the appearance of a very light, naturally reliced instrument.

The original COA is not included. The original Gibson checklist is included and identifies the guitar as an “LP SG Standard Authentic.” The model and authenticity were also confirmed by Gibson via email.
