Novo is building some incredible guitars! The Voltur is a unique design that’s reminiscent of guitars from the 60s and 70s. This is a wonderful guitar! It rings loudly and has plenty of sustain. I have owned a V2 Voltur and this V1. I prefer the V1 more than the V2. The tele style control plate with the coil-split toggle is easier to use than the push-pull pot. The combination of the p-90 and the humbucker is my favorite pickup combination! Smooth and warm neck tones with bright and quick attack in the bridge. The middle position is somewhere in between, go figure. The guitar is in great shape! Wonderfully aged by the Novo crew but not too aggressively worn. Just the right amount of checking, dings, and scratches! The neck is very comfortable. The back is worn so it plays smooth for hours. It’s not as big as the neck on the Voltur V2. The V2 neck is more baseball bat, this is larger than a ‘59 style neck carve but not by much. More depth, less shoulders. The frets are in excellent condition With plenty of life left. The guitar is stock and set up with 11s. Includes the Novo G&G hardshell case.
