This Pre Owned Gibson 1996 Les Paul Gem Series in Topaz finish is in very good condition with signs of general play wear and tear throughout. The top presents very well with a couple of dinks but nothing major to report. There is quite a bit of buckle rash and wear on the back and around the edges of the body. Nothing unusual for the age of the instrument and some may say it adds to the overall aesthetic.

The neck and fingerboard is in excellent condition as are the frets, which have minimal wear and plenty of life in them yet. There is some lacquer lifted around the edge of the D machine head which can be seen clearly in photo 2 of our listing. All hardware presents well with signs of tarnishing which doesn't impact on functionality in any way. The knobs have some internal stress cracks but function as normal.

The original P90's sound great. This model has a nice chunky 50's style neck. You don't see these come on the market too often and this is nice vibey example.

We've given it a full set up and healthcheck in our workshop with fresh set of D'Addario EXL110's (10-46) and it's now ready to find a new home. Includes the original case in well used condition with a couple of broken latches and a definite rock 'n' roll vibe.
