This guitar was crafted by Senior Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov—who is currently not accepting new orders—and was specially commissioned for a Fender show in Japan!

Featuring intricate 4A-grade flamed maple that adds a striking, elegant touch to the guitar’s appearance!

The Trans Red finish, hand-stained by the supreme master builder Yuriy Shishkov to bring out the wood grain to its fullest, is simply irresistible!!

Although alder was chosen for the main body, only high-quality alder was selected for this guitar.

The guitar’s configuration is based on modern specifications, featuring a headstock-adjustable truss rod, 22 frets, and a two-point tremolo system.

A polyurethane finish, known for its durability and resistance to discoloration, has been applied.

The neck features the Custom Classic “C” profile, which has minimal taper from the low to high positions. The fingerboard specifications—6105 frets and a 9.5” radius—are classic and versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

While the nut width on standard traditional models is typically 1.650”, this guitar features a slightly wider 1.6875” nut, which offers an advantage when playing complex finger movements, such as tension chords.

The neck is crafted from AA Flame maple and is in excellent condition.

It is equipped with Hand-Wound Fat 50s Strat pickups.

When played, the tone feels more modern than the typically “mellow” sound associated with this spec, yet this particular guitar boasts an excellent balance across all frequency ranges, with solid bass and smooth, non-harsh highs.

Given that the combination of a polyurethane finish and a maple top tends to emphasize the highs, the fact that it’s balanced to sound clean and playable is truly impressive—a testament to the craftsmanship of a Master Builder.

The subtle use of pearloid tuning pegs, which complements the guitar’s overall beauty, is a touch that feels quintessentially Yuri.

With no noticeable scratches and no worn fret edges, this is a guitar that looks great and plays great!

Of course, the truss rod is in perfect working order!
