This Epi is in excellent, near-mint condition with only minimal signs of play.

The special thing right up front: it is a classic Goldtop, but with a comfortably flat '60s C-shaped neck – so no chunky '50s baseball bat. The neck feels great in the hand and makes the guitar very comfortable and easy to play.

The guitar is in all-original condition. The factory fretwork, however, was nothing special, even though the frets showed virtually no signs of wear. So we carefully levelled, recrowned and polished the frets and then gave the guitar a comprehensive setup. Now it plays amazingly well.

Tonally, the Epiphone 57 humbucker at the neck and the Epiphone Hot humbucker at the bridge deliver exactly what you expect from a good Paula: warm and round at the neck, with plenty of punch at the bridge.

At approx. 3.76 kg, it is also pleasantly light for a Les Paul.

A beautiful Goldtop with a flat '60s neck, excellent condition and classic Les Paul feel. A really nice piece.
