Marshall Super Lead 100W Black 1969-1970
Marshall Super Lead 100W tube amplifier head in black, serial number SL/A 4416A.
Based on Marshall’s serial-date coding, the “A” suffix places this amplifier in the late-1969 to 1970 production period. We are intentionally not representing a more specific year without additional internal date-code evidence.
This is an authentic vintage Marshall Super Lead with the correct four-EL34 power-tube configuration. The current power tubes appear to be modern JJ Electronic EL34s. ARS filter capacitors are also visible, indicating routine service/replacement components rather than a completely untouched chassis.
Condition: Very Good (vintage). The cabinet, gold rear panel, controls and hardware show age-appropriate cosmetic wear consistent with a vintage working amplifier. No major structural cabinet damage is visible in the supplied photographs. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
Serial: SL/A 4416A
Local pickup in Los Angeles is strongly preferred. Shipping within the continental U.S. is available at buyer’s expense with careful packing, full-value insurance and signature required.
