This is one very cool looking and sounding bass the heavily worn body is player grade with paint chips and gloss checking all over the place. The frets have plenty of life left and are very solid compared to say a teisco or mij offering of same period. The neck profile is very unique and feels like a little kids wooden slugger. These necks are so fun to play when setup correctly. These action is high. The neck and bridge will need a good amount of care, adjustment, and finessing to get this guitar up to gigable standards. We got this in a big lot trade years ago and it has been wall candy and an, “I will get around to it“ project ever since. Pickup sounds awesome, mute is functional but will need some new foam soon. It is a project that could be a phenomenal player With the right love given to it. All is original to the guitar but the pickups and a pot or two.
