Eleven HD Expanded is the exclusive DSP software engine that powers the HeadRush Pedalboard, the HeadRush Gigboard, and the HeadRush Core.  It is a completely rewritten and reconstructed version of the legacy Eleven Rack and Eleven Plug-In code, designed to offer more realistic modeling, greater flexibility, and improved performance on a modern quad-core processor. 

Key differences and enhancements include:

• Unrestricted Signal Chain: Unlike the original code where amp and cab were locked blocks, Eleven HD Expanded allows effects to be inserted anywhere in the signal chain, including before the cabinet
• Parallel Processing: The new architecture supports parallel processing, enabling more complex rig configurations. 

• Expanded Features: It adds user-requested features such as a faster UI, reverb/delay tail spillover between presets, a 20-minute looper, and support for custom/third-party impulse responses (IRs). 
• Audio Quality: Internal oversampling was renewed and waveshaper downsampling disabled to achieve better sound quality, authenticity, and definition compared to the original models. 

The software is available in various HeadRush hardware units, with the Pedalboard being the flagship model featuring a 7-inch touchscreen, while the Gigboard and Core offer similar DSP capabilities in more compact or rack-friendly form factors.
