Considering shrinking the collection. Up for sale is this all original custom color 1964 Jazz Bass.
Neck date Dec 64.
All original everything - hardware, finish, pickups, electronics.
Original Candy Apple Red is worn in places and shows the tell-tale early 60s silver undercoat before they changed to gold in 1965. Previous owner (who I am in touch with) liked to play up near the neck and as such there is a groove worn into the wood from years of playing in this position! I even have some early photos of this bass in action that I can share with the eventual buyer!
Untouched solder with pot dates to 40th week of 1964.
Comes with era correct (not sure if original) 1960s Fender hard case with Fender Logo.
