Telefunken M80 Dynamic Microphone - Silver Top, Black Body | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

Promising condenser-like performance, the Telefunken M80 dynamic microphone lets you set a new standard for high-quality live performances. Unlike the midrange-heavy tone of many popular handheld mics, the M80 employs a low-mass capsule and ultra-thin membrane to capture every nuance of your performance with amazing balance and detail. You don't need an expensive condenser mic to get studio-quality sound on stage — you need the Telefunken M80.

Product Overview

Telefunken designed the M80's head and capsule to reduce the proximity effect created by its supercardioid polar pattern. That means your vocals won't get boomy or indistinct, yet you still get the feedback-fighting characteristics of a directional microphone.

If you're a live performer, you know it's tough to get a consistent sound every night when you're plugging into a different mixing board each time. Different microphone preamplifiers operate at different impedance levels, which affects your microphone's sound. The M80 sports an American-made, custom-wound transformer that automatically matches impedance, so your sound stays consistent no matter what you're plugging into.

The diaphragm on the M80 is super thin, giving it a fast, uncolored response that captures your sound with incredible detail. Because it's not a midrange-heavy mic like some dynamic microphones, it isn't limited to vocals — you'll get great results with the M80 in front of a guitar amp, over a snare drum, or on virtually any other instrument that needs a detailed, well-balanced microphone.

• Live vocalists wanting condenser-like detail and balance from a dynamic mic
• Performers who need consistent tone across different venues and mixing boards
• Instrumentalists miking guitar amps, snare drums, and other sources needing detailed reproduction
