David Bock Soundelux U99 in near mint condition up for sale. These are supposed to emulate the classic Neumann U67 mics. I’ve never used a U67 so I can’t offer an opinion on how close it sounds to it. Very lightly used in a home hobbyist setting. Excellent microphone. It’s one of those, if you know you know mics. Unique, rare, and excellent sounding microphone. Great on acoustic guitar and vocals. Hard to find these anymore because Bock sold his companies to Universal Audio and started making microphones for them. Hand made in California in 2021. Serial # 20169. This was his newer version that includes the signature fat switch. This is not the vintage version. It’s basically brand new as I barely used it here and there at home only. Comes with the original box with all original items including the power supply, cable, and shock mount.

Bought in 2021 from Sweetwater. It had to be one of the last U99’s Bock built because Sweetwater discontinued selling them after mine and Bock sold his company. It took about 3 months to get it built and shipped after ordering. This is a great value considering the mics he went on to make with UA can be north of $4k! Now he’s partnered with ADK which offers a U67 emulated mic for $4k as well. This one is unique, a fraction of the cost, and actually built by him and his company rather than being a partner in a different company who makes the mics.
