In good condition, has been through 2 marching band seasons with a few scratches in the plating around the rim and in the cup but other than that no dents or cosmetic issues on the outside.
This is a really great mouthpiece that works very well with both piston and rotary valve 4/4 and 5/4 BBb Tubas and some Sousaphones (works and sits correctly with Yamaha sousaphones but doesn’t sit correctly in King and Conn Sousas).
It has a very dark and broad sound and with enough air can produce a very powerful sound that can support medium to large ensembles with ease, and has a very wide rim which makes playing for long periods of time very comfortable but also at the same time requires a lot of embrochure and air control to make this mouthpiece reach it’s full potential.
