Authentic vintage K. Zildjian Istanbul cymbal made in Turkey during the Intermediate Stamp era, approximately 1959 to 1966.
This is a 16 inch hand hammered cymbal weighing approximately 1,466 grams. It is exceptionally heavy for its size and may have originally been used as a heavier ride or bounce cymbal, or potentially as part of a 16 inch hi hat pair.
The cymbal retains its original K. Zildjian & Co. Istanbul stamp, Made in Turkey marking, and visible handwritten factory signature. It has the natural patina, hand hammering, and traditional lathing associated with vintage Turkish K Zildjians.
Condition is very good for its age. It shows normal cosmetic wear, oxidation, patina, stick marks, and surface discoloration from decades of use and storage. Please review all photos closely for condition.
