Nice Jazzmaster. Chicago Music Exchange ordered pre-upgraded Fender Player's Series with Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups and Fender locking tuners. CME does a great job setting these up. Neck is straight, action low, perfectly intimated. I upgraded the pickguard to gold anodized, and added the missing rhythm circuit.
Sonic Blue (discontinued color) with Olympic White headstock. Cream colored parts. 8# 4oz, which is a great weight for a JM. Comfy modern C shaped neck, 1.65" nut, 9.5" radius woth rolled fretboard edges
The wiring now has 1 meg CTS pots, CentralLab oiled caps, Switchcraft switches and jack, connected to USA made Fender Pure Vintage pickups, which I find fantastic, clean and punchy.
I found the pickups' middle position redundant with the added Rhythm Circuit, so it's now wired out-of-phase, making it more versatile and giving you some Stratocaster “quack”. Shockingly little wear for a guitar I've enjoyed for 3 years. My guitars are prone to buckle rash, but none here. One ding on the back I couldn't get a pic of, under the paint.
