【Fender Japan】ST-57 (2T) '57 Stratocaster 2-Tone Sunburst (Texas Special Pickups? / Alder Body / 1-Piece Maple Neck)

This is a pre-owned Fender Japan ST-57 (2T) model.

"Crafted in Japan" (P-serial: 1999–2002). It is a 1957-style Stratocaster featuring the "spaghetti" logo, a small headstock, and a one-piece maple neck.

The body features a 2-tone sunburst finish; the grain suggests it is Alder. Regarding the pickups, the middle pickup has yellow cloth wiring, leading me to suspect they might be Texas Specials (USA), though I cannot confirm this with certainty. Please understand this point.

● Operation has been verified.

● It is equipped with three single-coil pickups; the tone sounds "Texas-style" to my ears, though this is just a layperson's opinion and not confirmed.

● The bridge saddles bear the "FENDER" stamp but show significant rust. Height adjustment is still possible.

● Regarding the neck condition: in my non-professional opinion, it appears nearly straight. I estimate more than 60% of the fret life remains. (Note: I have not adjusted the truss rod as I lack the tools and expertise. However, as this is a used instrument, the previous owner may have adjusted it.)

▼ Cosmetically, there are signs of age and use, including dents, scratches, and touch-up marks. There is a chip in the tremolo spring cover plate. As this is a used item, please refrain from bidding if you are seeking perfection.

▼ There is no noticeable severe crackling or static noise at present, though as with any used instrument, the possibility of future issues cannot be ruled out. Furthermore, I cannot verify if parts such as pickups or electronics have been replaced; unless explicitly stated as "all original," I consider the originality status unknown. Please take this into account before bidding.

Shipping

Worldwide shipping from Tokyo. For goods with hard cases we usually pack hard case and contents by cushioning material (usually bubble wrap). There has never been a problem with that shipping method so far. However, if you want a hard case to be included in cardboard, I can ship by that method if you pay additional $10. This applies only to products that originally have hard case.

Items are generally shipped on Mondays and Fridays. For safety reasons, items that can be removed from the body and neck will be shipped with the body and neck removed.

We usually ship with a tracking number.
