Petulance Ultra 18v Special Edition Analog Superoverdrive

Ivy Pedals is proud to present the Petulance Ultra 18v Analog SuperOverdrive effect pedal, another special edition/variation on the Petulance effect pedal. This pedal is from a serialized, matched pair- I am keeping build 1/2, and this listing is for build 2/2 which is marked inside the enclosure. There is another pair of the standard Petulance to be built after this, and then there may be a design update depending on how that goes. New Demo Video coming soon with this specific version!

Petulance Ultra 18v is a transistor-based cascaded gain stage overdrive capable of boost, drive, distortion, and fuzz tones. Originally conceived by chaining the amplifier sections of a RadioShack mixer, this "superoverdrive" effect is now in formal pedal release, and this is a special edition with C945 silicon transistors and upgraded capacitors for better noise performance and 18v capability (the other Petulance editions are 9v-12v DC). The user is given the power to select the number of gain stages with the ANGER rotary switch (3-position), different clipping option including a transistor-saturation only/no-clipping mode, and of course Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs.

• GAIN - input gain/drive/crunch
• TONE - high frequency roll-off
• ANGER - 3 SETTINGS: 2 gain stages / 3 stages / 4 stages
• LEVEL - output volume
• Tone Switch - tone cutoff reduced by 1 octave
• Clip Switch - 3 SETTINGS: symmetrical clipping (hi) / no clipping (very loud!) / asymmetrical clipping (low)

Petulance Ultra 18v is rated for 9v-18v DC center-negative power supplies, features top load DC and in/out jacks, two gold LEDs for extra visibility, and of course, the gold jacks, gold footswitch, and gold knobs. ANGER is a rotary switch with three positions, highlighted with the black-top knob.
