New made Panduri from Chestnut wood, with 14 metal frets and metal pegs. Instrument has walnut "Borjgali" shaped sound hole and walnut fretboard. The Borjgali (ბორჯღალი) is one of Georgia's oldest and best-known traditional symbols. It resembles a rotating sun or spiral with seven wings, representing movement and life. Its common meanings include: The Sun and its life-giving energy; Eternity and the continuous cycle of Life, growth, and renewal.

Instrument is well handmade, its' body crafted from the whole core of chestnut wood and presents very careful work. The body shares the similar shape Chonguri have.
