The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition CuNiFe Telecaster Custom Journeyman Relic combines classic Telecaster design with premium materials, distinctive appointments, and a highly flexible pickup pairing.
The 2-piece select alder body is finished in aged Sonic Blue nitrocellulose lacquer with Journeyman Relic treatment, while black binding and rope-style purfling give the guitar a more elaborate appearance than a traditional Telecaster.
Its electronics pair a Wide-Range CuNiFe humbucker in the neck position with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Original Blackguard single-coil at the bridge. This combination delivers a broad tonal range, from warm, full neck humbucker tones to the direct attack and clarity of a classic Tele bridge pickup.
The quartersawn 2A flame maple neck features a 1960 Oval “C” profile, 3A rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius, and 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets. A Bigsby B5 vibrato system with RSD Jaguar/Jazzmaster-style bridge further expands its expressive capability while preserving the guitar’s vintage-inspired feel.
