Condition & Circuit Breakdown
- Original Iron & Signal Path: Features original transformers and the highly desirable yellow Astron signal capacitors (.1 MFD, .02 MFD, .01 MFD) throughout the eyelet board, preserving the true 1959 voice of this circuit.
- Restuffed Aerovox Capacitors: The main filter capacitors have been meticulously serviced—the original yellow Aerovox Dandee sleeves were preserved and restuffed with fresh, high-quality modern electrolytics. You get 100% period-correct vintage aesthetics inside the chassis without risking original components to dried-up 65-year-old caps.
- Safety Upgrade: Updated to a grounded 3-prong power cord for safe operation on modern AC power. The original "death cap" was clipped on one leg and left physically in place on the board to maintain the vintage component layout.
- Speaker: Features a period-correct Jensen Special Design P10 Series blue-bell Alnico speaker with incredible response and clarity.
- Tube Chart & Cabinet: Original tube chart stamped "IR" inside the pine cabinet. The original tweed covering shows honest, authentic play wear, fraying, and a natural aged patina that tells the story of a well-loved vintage instrument.
- Footswitch Included: Comes complete with a vintage single-button footswitch for the tremolo circuit.
