This model is the middle weight of the RT-88 family which is now available in four distinct weight options to match a player’s preferred feel and response:

• RT-88: Standard / Lightest weight

• RT-88L: Medium weight version of the classic RT-88

• RT-88+: Heavy weight

• RT-88 Maxx: Extra-heavy weight

As the weight of each RT-88 mouthpiece increases, so does its potential volume, with the RT-88 Maxx delivering the most powerful projection.  The player also has more flexibility to fine-tune many other aspects such as attack clarity, resonance, and stability.
