This Digidesign Digi 002 Rack is a FireWire audio interface that was designed as the centerpiece of a Pro Tools LE recording system. With multiple microphone preamps, line inputs, digital I/O, and MIDI connectivity, it offers a versatile all-in-one solution for recording, mixing, and studio production.
The Digi 002 Rack features four built-in microphone preamps with phantom power, up to 18 channels of simultaneous I/O via ADAT and S/PDIF expansion, and support for professional-quality recording at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. While it was originally intended for use with older versions of Pro Tools LE, it has also been used with select third-party drivers and legacy recording systems, making it a capable interface for compatible setups.
