A unique custom piece for the keen eye seeking an instrument entirely their own.
One summer in the 2010s - we experimented with a number of distressing techniques to be used on our instruments. This guitar was elected as a subject of these experiments, and got a completely custom refin.
Because this guitar is so heavily distressed I feel inclined to note that none of the visual modifications have negatively effected the functionality or playability of this instrument.
The original laquer finish has been completely removed, exposing the paint and wood beneath. The original pickguard has been replaced with a custom, genuine copper. The bridge pins have been swapped for custom brass endpieces. The tuning knobs have been most heavily distressed, they show signs of pitting and erosion, but they tune perfectly. The neck has been completely sanded down for the smoothest playing experience possible. With the finish removed, this instrument is allowed to breath and sounds more "open" and "woody". All hardware, pickups, and electronics are otherwise original and have not been modified. They have all been heavily distressed and could not possibly be described as in "perfect cosmetic condition", but they are in perfect functioning order. Original Soft Shell Case Included. The case has been worn through travel, but it has not been intentionally distressed otherwise.
Pickups are great in this - hot but clear.
Thanks for looking - any questions please do not hesitate to ask and I will be very happy to help.
