Some guitars are built to honor the past, while others redefine it. Available now at Haggerty's Music, the Charvel American Neo-Classic San Dimas SD1 HH HT captures the unmistakable spirit of the original hot-rodded instruments that helped shape the golden era of shred while incorporating the precision, reliability, and refinement today's players demand. Finished in an elegant Velvet Midnight gloss, this USA-built San Dimas blends vintage-inspired styling with cutting-edge performance, creating an instrument equally at home under stage lights or in the studio.

Built around Charvel's legendary alder San Dimas body, this guitar delivers the balanced resonance, articulate highs, and focused midrange that have made the platform a favorite among rock and metal players for decades. The one-piece quartersawn maple neck, reinforced with graphite for exceptional stability, is carved into Charvel's fast Speed Neck profile with rolled fingerboard edges that feel instantly familiar. A compound 12"-16" radius maple fingerboard, jumbo stainless steel frets, heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel, and Luminlay side dots ensure effortless playability from the first fret to the last, whether you're laying down rhythm parts or blazing through technical solos.

The electronics are equally impressive, pairing Seymour Duncan's legendary JB bridge humbucker with a '59 neck humbucker for an extraordinary range of tones. From sparkling cleans and classic rock crunch to aggressive modern gain, the five-way blade switch unlocks a variety of full humbucking and coil-split combinations without adding unnecessary complexity. Combined with the rock-solid Charvel hardtail bridge and premium American craftsmanship, this San Dimas SD1 is built to inspire players who demand speed, versatility, and uncompromising performance every time they pick up the guitar.
