2024 Vintera II Desert Sand JM, with the return to rosewood fretboards.

In great shape cosmetically. Guard may have some scratches. Pretty free of chips, dents, dings as pictured. Frets have some wear, particularly the first few. Neck has minor relief as expected, truss rod access at heel has room to turn either direction. Unsure if neck has been shimmed at all.

Some modifications were performed before I purchased this used.

The mods I’ve recognized :

- Curtis Novak pickups installed. ”Fat” in the bridge, “Neck” in the neck. They sound great. See photos.

- Pickguard shown replaces original factory aluminum guard. I do not have the original guard.

- Cupcake-style knobs replace stock knobs. I do not have the originals.

- Tremolo tailpiece appears to be an upgrade to an AVRI, evidenced by the swirly lock button and beveled tip on the arm collet. There is no rubber / plastic gasket inside the collet. I cannot 100% verify this, just an assumption. The trem arm I’m including was purchased aftermarket and meant for an AVRI tailpiece; it does not currently sink into place, but may just take loosening the collet tension screw / nut on the underside of the tailpiece to properly fit. Or you may need to source one on your own. Just FYI.

With regards to amplified output, this guitar does exhibit some ground buzz at all pickup positions at bedroom levels, cured when grounding yourself to the strings. Has minor typical line hum as JM pickups often do. Ground issue likely introduced when rewired with the Novak pickups by original owner. Otherwise, all positions function for both rhythm and lead circuits. The body cavities may be shielded with conductive tape.

This guitar has not been restrung / set-up in my ownership, and I am not the original owner. Factors like new strings, intonation, neck angle modification, action, bridge height and all things general set-up related will be up to the buyer.
