• Mahogany body provides warmth, sustain, and balanced low-end response
• 5-piece maple and mahogany neck improves stability and fast modern playability

The Yamaha TRBX504 is designed for players who need modern versatility, powerful tone shaping, and dependable performance across rehearsals, recording sessions, and live environments. Built around Yamaha’s ergonomic TRBX platform, the TRBX504 combines comfort, balance, and tonal flexibility in a streamlined modern bass design.

Its pair of YGD-designed H5 humbuckers deliver strong low-end punch, focused mids, and excellent clarity across clean, driven, and more aggressive playing styles. The humbucking platform provides a fuller and more controlled response compared to traditional single-coil designs, making the TRBX504 highly adaptable across rock, funk, pop, fusion, metal, and contemporary session work.

The active/passive electronics system allows players to quickly switch between detailed active EQ shaping and a more natural passive response depending on the musical situation. Yamaha’s 3-band EQ section provides precise control over bass, midrange, and treble frequencies while maintaining clarity and balance across the instrument’s full range.

The mahogany body adds warmth, sustain, and balanced resonance, while the slim 5-piece maple and mahogany neck improves long-term stability and fast modern playability. Yamaha’s sculpted TRBX body contours also improve comfort and balance during long rehearsals, performances, and studio sessions.

The Translucent Brown finish gives the TRBX504 a warmer modern appearance with rich natural wood character visible beneath the translucent finish. Combined with the black nickel hardware and aggressive TRBX body contours, the bass feels refined, grounded, and visually expressive while maintaining Yamaha’s clean contemporary design language.
