Tris Imboden’s professional career has spanned 6 decades and is going strong!  From his first professional gig was in 1970 with the now legendary HONK, and his current gig with The Tris Imboden Yacht Stars, Tris has performed with A-list music icons including Neil Diamond, Kenny Loggins, Firefall, Richard Marx, Steve Vai, Roger Daltrey, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Chicago, Anita Baker, Julio Iglesias, Stevie Wonder and many more. Highlights of his career include driving Kenny Loggins' "Footloose", and "I'm Alright” to the top of the charts plus a 28 year gig as a member of Chicago.

Tris amassed a massive collection of drum gear over his six decade career. He’s decided to keep just enough to cover his current gigs, and asked my help finding worthy homes for the remainder of his collection. 

Tris Imboden’s endorsement relationship with Paiste began in 2007 and is going strong almost 2 decades later. 

The Paiste 18" Twenty Custom Thin China was part of Tris's personal collection. Produced from 2011–2014 and crafted in Switzerland from traditional CuSn20 (B20) bronze. Developed for players seeking darker, more complex tones than Paiste's Signature and 2002 lines, the Thin China delivers a fast, explosive attack with a warm, trashy character and a quick, controlled decay. At 984 grams, this example is exceptionally light, making it highly responsive for quick accents, dynamic textures, and expressive playing in funk, fusion, jazz, and contemporary rock.

This cymbal remains in outstanding, near new condition. No issues
