Here is a RARE find!

This Keystone badge Downbeat 906 4x14 piccolo snare was found locally in a less than optimal storage situation, and brought here to our shop.

We disassembled it, did a mild cleaning, installed fresh heads and a snare wire, and reassembled it.

The throw off and internal muffler is original, the throw-off we had to clean some rust off to make it functional, and the muffler has hardened red felt. Just normal 'resto' stuff.

One of the Lugs has an odd bit of damage that almost looks like it had an edge burned or ground off (Pictured). It is still functional, but obviously, the next owner would be on "the lookout" for a replacement for it.

Internally the white paint is all original but shows discoloration from age and less than optimal storage conditions. The seam on the wrap also shows a small area of normal 'lift'.

The drum tuned up fine, and sounds great!
