We have received a used 2020 Steve Lukather Signature LUKE III.

LUKE’s signature models are highly popular, long-selling instruments that have undergone various minor updates over the years.

This model, the final iteration of the LUKE III, is notable for its specifications, which are very close to those of the BFR.

The body features a quilted maple top with a beautiful grain pattern and an okoume back.

While alder is typically used, this model features okoume, a wood preferred by Lukather.

Okoume is known for its rich, warm low-mid tones, similar to those of mahogany.

The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard.

Additionally, the fingerboard position marks are made of white mother-of-pearl rather than plastic.

It is equipped with Music Man Custom Wound pickups.

It also features an original preamp that allows for gain boost via the Tone Pod’s push-pull switch. This preamp is identical to the one found on the LUK4.

The bridge features an original Synchro Tremolo system, set up in a floating configuration.

The tuners are locking types, which minimize tuning drift.
