Modernized 1930's Ring-Spring Dynamic Microphone, w/stand and cable (Hear it)

     Offering a vintage 1930's style, customized and modernized Ring-Spring Dynamic Microphone. The center mic housing is from Wonder Specialties out of Cleveland Ohio. It was originally a low-end mic for home use, but we removed the old carbon element inside and installed a studio quality dynamic capsule which can operate on any modern system, no outside power needed. So now you have a working microphone, symbolic of the early stages of electronically captured sound, with an audio profile that also captures that vintage vibe. (Check out the voice sample in the listing video.)

      The center mic housing is spring-suspended within a 5" double-aluminum support ring, and threaded to an adjustable-height, heavily-weighted desk stand. (The ring can also be used with any other desk or floor stand.) A long 7' cable is hardwired with a standard 1/4" male phono plug. Total height of this unit is 15"-20".
