The Ibanez TS7 Tube Screamer is a Tone-Lok series overdrive pedal from 1999 with a push-lok knob system that recesses the controls into the chassis to prevent accidental changes. It features the standard Drive, Tone, and Level knobs plus a Hot mode switch that adds an extra gain stage for more saturation and output. The TS7 can be switched between TS9 mode, which replicates the classic circuit, and Hot mode for increased distortion. The aluminum enclosure is more durable than the earlier plastic TS5, and the recessed knobs keep settings locked in place during transport.
