The sound of the MXR M104 Distortion Plus guitar effects pedal is instantly familiar to so many guitarists. This pedal defined the distortion sound of the ’80s, and it brings that same attitude to your tone.
But its versatility takes it far beyond the ’80s, allowing you to dial it from a warm, saturated crunch to a thick, gritty, fully cranked distortion. As one of the first distortion pedals to use op-amps, the famous 741 chip delivers a massive 46.5 dB to bring your playing to life and cut through the mix. When you need some musical muscle, this is the distortion pedal to turn to.
Bough in feb 2017, smal dinks here and there, but the pedal works fine and comes with the rubber rings.
