The Willcutt Cavern Collection takes everything players love about a great vintage Les Paul and enhances it with exceptional resonance, reduced weight, and unmatched responsiveness. This Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard V1 Chambered in Factory Burst VOS begins with a hand-selected AAA figured maple top chosen by James and a chambered mahogany body for an incredibly lightweight and resonant instrument. The chambered body construction creates a lively acoustic character, allowing notes to bloom effortlessly while maintaining the punch and sustain expected from a great Les Paul. A comfortable 1960 V1 Slim Taper C neck profile offers a slightly fuller vintage feel while remaining fast and effortless to play, while a pair of Willcutt-exclusive Cloudbucker underwound pickups deliver articulate PAF-inspired tones with outstanding clarity, dynamic range, and vintage character. Finished in a beautiful Factory Burst VOS treatment, this Cavern Collection exclusive is designed for players seeking vintage tone, lightweight comfort, and exceptional responsiveness.
