-----------------------------------

Since its unveiling at NAMM Show 2020—the world's largest musical instrument trade show—the Ibanez EHB (Ergonomic Headless Bass) series has earned overwhelmingly positive acclaim from bassists worldwide, thanks to its innovative concept and exceptional playability.

The weight reduction achieved by its headless construction and the compact, comfortable body design not only reduce physical strain during long stage performances, but also make it easy and effortless to pick up for practice at home!!

~Features~

• Ergonomic Body DesignThe EHB body design is ergonomically engineered to sit comfortably with perfect balance against the player, whether standing or seated. The upper horn is shaped to maintain body-to-neck balance when standing while providing a solid grip, while the treble-side body curves were specially designed for an optimal fit and balance during seated play.

The body top features a contoured slope where the player's elbow rests. Furthermore, all body edges that touch the body are rounded with smooth radii.

The back of the body features a bold slant cut that thins out toward the bass side. This improves the fit when playing seated while tilting the angle slightly to make the fretboard inlays easier to see.

Additionally, the back of the treble horn is scooped out to ensure effortless access to the higher fret registers.

The body utilizes a chambered construction, allowing the player to feel its acoustic resonance more intuitively.

By experiencing the internal vibrations directly—much like a hollow-body instrument—the player gains a clearer awareness of the sound they are producing.

It also contributes slightly to overall weight reduction.

• 5pc Roasted Maple/Walnut Neck w/ Graphite Reinforcement RodsThis marks the first time Ibanez has featured roasted maple in a bass neck.Combining heat-treated roasted maple with walnut, this neck offers benefits such as enhanced dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and superior tolerance to temperature shifts.
• Roasted Birdseye Maple Fretboard & Medium Stainless Steel FretsThe fretboard uses heat-treated roasted birdseye maple, characterized by its distinct "bird's eye" grain patterns.
• Luminescent Side Dot InlaysFeatures luminescent side dot position markers on the fretboard edge for clear visibility on dark stages.
• MR5HS Mono-Rail Bridge w/ String Spacing Adjustable SaddlesFeatures a newly designed, custom-developed bridge made specifically for headless instruments.Tuning is adjusted by turning the bridge tailpieces. While stiff tuning mechanisms are a common drawback in competitors' products, this proprietary design incorporates Teflon washers to achieve exceptionally smooth turning. Each saddle can be adjusted laterally by $\pm 1.5\text{ mm}$, allowing custom configuration of the string-to-string spacing to suit your playing style.
• Newly Designed Headpiece for EHBA newly developed, custom-designed headpiece created exclusively for the EHB.Strings can be easily installed and released simply by turning an Allen wrench from the back.
