CONDITION: This MUSICIAN'S DREAM-GEAR is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, and I would say it is in LIKE_NEW condition! However, and respectfully, since everyone has different standards; on the cosmetics, please don't take my word for it! I'll let the pictures do the talking. 🙂
SERVICE HISTORY: I am sure that if you are looking at this item, you know everything about it. So, I will first tell you about this particular gem:
IT HAS JUST BEEN FULLY INSPECTED/SERVICED AND IS READY FOR A NEW HOME!
The following services were just done, which cost us over $150!
IF you find another one for less than what ours is selling for, and since most of the used ones out there, that are supposed to be "fully functional", turn out NOT to be; you will then need to find someone who would work on these (which is very hard nowadays), and then who knows how much it would cost to make it fully functional??! CONDITION IS EVERYTHING!
SERVICES DONE:
- Full inspection
- Load tested for 2 hours
- Factory reset performed
- All original factory presets re-programmed
- Cleaned
Analog Polysynth with Sophisticated Sound Shaping
When it comes to traditional subtractive analog synthesis with modern sophistication, the Korg minilogue analog polyphonic synthesizer delivers. It starts with a pair of highly shapable VCOs, which you can shape with a switchable 2-/4-pole lowpass filter, and there's plenty of modulation to go around. At the same time, you can store up to 200 settings, and there are 100 killer presets onboard to fuel your creativity. There's also a built-in tape-style delay effect and an OLED oscilloscope display — something we've never seen on a hardware synth. And that's just the beginning. Between the minilogue's Voice Modes and the onboard 16-step sequencer, you'll be amazed by the sounds you can come up with.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME (Kevin):
I am a 46-year-old, with a degree in Electronics Engineering, who LOVES Synthesizers, sounds, Music, and Electronics in general. Even though I do not work in the Electronics industry; I have always loved/adored it, never separated from it; and as a hobby, I collect and restore them; and sometimes sell them to make room for others...
I've been around Synthesizers for over three decades, have serviced/restored hundreds of them, and have hundreds of the rarest/most sought-after synthesizers/keyboards available for sale. (which is one of the largest selections of used synthesizers found in one place!)
WHY BUY FROM US? (full version)
When you're buying a vintage (or just a used) car, does the condition matter? Of course it does! 😊 Are two used cars that are the same make and model the same? Would all similar (year, make and model) cars sell at the same price? No; there are many factors that would decide what price they fetch. Mileage, body, functionality, extra options, service history, past use... and one of the most important ones is CONDITION, which is everything! That is the reason a factory certified used Mercedes, fetches at least $4000 more, than the one you'd buy from a private seller you find on Craigslist.😊That's why when it comes to buying a used car, price is not everything... And buying a secondhand synthesizer, is no different than purchasing a vintage or used car.
Yes, I'm proud of my children for sure. Mainly because when it comes to used keyboards and synths (just like used cars), condition is EVERYTHING! I have searched hard, hand-picked and collected only the best of the best that are in pristine condition (majority of them); and then had them professionally inspected, serviced/repaired (if needed), reprogrammed/restored (if needed), detailed...
There's definitely value in that. On average, we spend about 5 hours on every single keyboard, before offering it for sale, and if they're not serviced, or if they don't pass the inspection, WE DON’T SELL THEM! We believe in selling ONLY high-quality items, to ensure that our clients are very happy with their purchase, which produces repeats, referrals and customers for life! 😁Not to mention the professional musicians that need to count on their instrument's reliability, as their livelihood depends on it. We have the biggest respect/admiration for the professional musicians, and want them to have peace of mind when they step on the stage…
In contrast, when it comes to USED GEAR FROM OTHER SOURCES, including the major retailers, you'd have to keep your fingers crossed until it arrives... And most often, they are NOT WHAT THEY WERE DESCRIBED TO BE, and most often, there is something wrong with the gear (as I am sure you, just like me, have experienced many times before). And often enough turn into headaches or heartaches...
However, you can rest assured, that if you buy from us, you will get a fully functional gear, and you'll get to see tons of details and pictures, before making up your mind! 🙂
No retailer would service them prior to the sale (they don’t even wipe it down!), as it costs an additional $300-$800 (or more)! Not to mention finding a Synth Tech is extremely difficult/costly nowadays. And that is what we do, as a labor of love! We do this because we really enjoy ANYTHING and EVERYTHING about synthesizers! Buying, selling, fixing, collecting, playing...we just love them! 😍
And finally, CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is also one of the major factors in retail/buying. We try our very best to provide everyone with the best possible service and experience; a fun one! We always stay on top of all communications in a timely manner, even/specially after the sale, which is where most sellers often disappear, or just don't care/reply...
Also, we are a HUGE believer in preserving, not just synthesizers (especially vintage!), but also our planet! So, we recycle EVERYTHING, and re-use as many parts as we can (fully functioning parts from donors), to help reduce our carbon foot-print.
If you've made it this far on this very long scroll 😄, you have our biggest thank you!
SOME SPECS FROM THE WEB:
(The following information is from the web, and not our words, so we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the statements, but believe them to be accurate, to the best of our limited knowledge on this instrument)
Amazing true analog polyphonic sound
It's tempting to look at a synth like the minilogue and assume that there must be a catch. How could an affordable polyphonic synth like this be truly analog? The answer lies with Korg's ingenuity. To make the minilogue, they had to completely redesign their analog synthesis technology, building a new platform component by component from the ground up. Ultimately, the minilogue features 2 VCOs, 1 VCF, 2 EGs, 1 VCA, and 1 LFO, all completely in the analog realm. You also get cross modulation, oscillator sync, and killer effects including a ring modulator, delay, and a highpass filter, plus an oscilloscope that lets you visualize the results. It's a veritable synthesis playground, and you'll never run out of ways to put it all together.
Redesigned all-analog synthesis signal path
Includes 2 VCOs, 1 VCF, 2 EGs, 1 VCA, and 1 LFO
Cross modulation and oscillator sync onboard
Oscilloscope lets you monitor your waveform
Additional effects include delay and ring modulation
Shape your tone with filtering, modulation, and delay
Before you dive into its Voice Modes or sequencing capabilities, you'll already be impressed by the minilogue's sound-shaping capabilities. For starters, both VCOs include a Shape control, which allows you to dial harmonic content into the three selectable waveforms. Cross modulation, oscillator sync, and ring modulation settings provide further sound-shaping possibilities as well. A sophisticated lowpass VCF section offers 2-pole and 4-pole modes and more than enough resonance, while an envelope generator and an LFO add time-based dynamics to a wide range of parameters. Finally, there's a tape-style delay onboard, which lets you pull off many classic wet and saturated synth sounds.
Dual VCOs include multi-wave harmonic shape control
Cross modulation, oscillator sync, and ring modulation onboard
2-/4-pole lowpass VCF offers plenty of resonance for aggressive sounds
Modulate parameters with the LFO and envelope generator
Tape-style digital delay delivers classic dense and atmospheric tones
Eight unique Voice modes to inspire your creativity
The fact that the Korg minilogue features four voices is pretty cool to begin with, but what makes this compact analog polysynth so much fun is the way it lets you put those voices to use. Choose from eight distinct voice modes to create fun and unique effects that will thrill even the most seasoned synth pro. Here are the details:
Poly mode is a basic polyphonic arrangement that allows you to play up to four separate notes at a time. This mode is perfect for playing chords or melodies with overlapping notes. To put it mildly, it's not every day you find a high-quality, true analog polyphonic synth at this price, and Poly mode shows off exactly how cool the minilogue can be.
Duo mode is, in many ways, the midway point between Poly mode and Unison mode, offering the best of each. The trade-off is that it cuts your polyphony down to two voices, but they each include 2-part unisons. The result is deep and vibrant sounds with enough polyphony for playing legato or layering notes.
Unison mode is a monophonic configuration that uses all four oscillators. This mode lets you create even bigger and richer sounds than Duo mode. It's perfect for creating massive stacks or lush pads. With plenty of options to dial it in, you'll be amazed by the extensive sound-sculpting options you get from this mode.
Mono mode is a traditional monophonic setup. What's great about Mono mode is that it trades the unison voices for a fat sub oscillator. It's perfect for beefing up bass patches or adding girth to leads.
Chord mode lets you automatically trigger entire chords with the press of a single key. You can quickly set up the chords you want to play for easy recall. There are limitless possibilities for Chord mode live, and it's a killer songwriting feature.
Delay mode is one of the most original things about the minilogue. This mode splits the oscillators out into repeating voices, kind of like a standard delay effect, only with the potential to program vastly different sounds for each repetition. Pro tip from the synth gurus at Sweetwater: if you want to experience some truly awesome rhythms, try running your Delay mode patches through the onboard delay effect.
Arp mode lets you create short arpeggiator sequences using all four voices. Choose from a variety of fun and exciting arpeggiation modes for cool rhythmical effects. You won't get this kind of character from a typical synthesizer.
Sidechain mode is another impressively unique performance option the minilogue offers. It's another multivoice mode, only this time, each new note drops the volume of the previous one, allowing the new note to take the foreground. Sidechain mode is particularly cool if you want to use patches with a softer attack for lead or solo parts since it adds a ton of clarity to the mix.
Add motion to your sound with 16 steps of sequencing
The additional step sequencer is a feature that makes the minilogue one of the most fun keyboards Sweetwater synth nuts have gotten their hands on. For one thing, there's virtually no learning curve, so you can dive right in and start creating cool rhythms and patterns from day one. There are two ways to use the sequencer: you can record in real time, or you can program your performance via steps. Real-time recording lets you overdub, allowing you to automate many parameters to create intensely complex patterns. Step recording is perfect for creating phrases and rhythms. What's more, you can easily combine this onboard sequencer with other MIDI and sync-equipped gear such as Volca series modules.
Simple, easy-to-use step sequencing onboard
Record your performances in real time in multiple layers
Traditional step programming available as well
Automate many parameters for complex pattern creation
Plays well with MIDI and sync-equipped gear (e.g., Volca modules)
