Vintage 1969 Wittner / Sinn Maelzel Metronome – Maple Wood w/ Bell – Full Kit

This is a vintage 1969 Wittner Metronome manufactured in West Germany, with the complete kit including original box, instructions, and plastic cover. The factory inspection stamp inside the unit is dated "12 Sep 1969" (see images).

The case is light-toned varnished Maple Wood and the internal mechanism is by Sinn.

Height 23cm / Base width 12.5cm.

Condition & Functionality:

Mechanism: Perfect working order. The mechanical clockwork winds smoothly, keeps flawless time, and ticks beautifully. *A video of the metronome working can be provided upon request*.

Bell: Fully functional. The integrated chime can be adjusted via the side pull-rod for 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and 6/4 time signatures, or pushed fully in for click-only mode.

Casing & Cover: The varnish has four small cracks radiating from the chime adjustment and the removable plastic face cover has some light scratches. Otherwise the case is in beautiful vintage condition.

Box & Manual: The original paper instructions are intact. The original cardboard box is structurally sound but quite worn and has a number of tape pieces on the exterior.

This is a fragile collector's item. It will be meticulously double-boxed, lined with heavy bubble wrap, and securely packed to ensure both the metronome and the original 1969 cardboard box arrive in the exact condition pictured.
