This bass has had some work done to it. It has had a refret, and the hardware has been replaced. the original tuners were replaced in the 80s and unfortunately the peg heads Were drilled out to accommodate. hipshot bridge has been installed but the original bridge is included here. It works and sounds fabulous and the action is about as Low as I’ve ever seen on one of these.
Overall a great bass that is actually ready to rock without the need to do a total overhaul, much like other 4001s from the same period would require.
