The Fender Custom Shop Michael Landau Signature 1963 Relic Stratocaster is a Made in USA electric guitar that faithfully recreates the legendary 1963 Stratocaster owned by renowned session guitarist Michael Landau. Based on his original instrument, this Custom Shop model combines premium tonewoods, a Relic finish, and top-tier components, delivering the perfect balance between vintage feel and professional performance.
The select lightweight alder body provides a balanced, dynamic tone with excellent resonance, while the maple neck with a Custom "C" profile ensures exceptional playing comfort. In addition, the round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius and 21 Narrow Jumbo frets offers an authentic vintage playing experience while maintaining smooth bends and modern playability.
Its SSS pickup configuration, featuring three Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s Single-Coil Strat pickups, delivers the unmistakable Stratocaster sound: bright, articulate, and highly responsive. Thanks to the 5-way pickup selector, players can effortlessly switch between sparkling clean tones, expressive lead sounds, and punchy rhythm textures, making this guitar ideal for rock, blues, fusion, pop, and jazz.
