1959 ES-355 IBG w/ Gibson USA Custombuckers - Cherry Red
For sale is my 1959 ES-355 Inspired by Gibson. I've owned it for just 9 months, and it has remained in mint condition the entire time. It has been well cared for, plays beautifully, and is one of the nicest semi-hollow guitars I've owned. I'm letting of it in an effort to downsize my collection.
Sonically, it's every bit as impressive. The factory-installed Gibson USA Custombucker pickups deliver the articulate, dynamic, late-'50s PAF tone they're known for, with exceptional clarity, warmth, and responsiveness. Whether you're playing jazz, blues, classic rock, or anything in between, this guitar excels.
This guitar stands apart from other ES models thanks to its premium, vintage-correct appointments. The iconic split-diamond headstock inlay immediately gives it the unmistakable Custom Shop aesthetic, while the genuine mother-of-pearl block fingerboard inlays provide a level of craftsmanship and elegance rarely found at this price point. Combined with the multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and open-book headstock, it has the look and feel of a far more expensive instrument.
