What we have here is an incredible 1991 Orville LP Custom. These were Japanese Market Gibsons made from 1988-1997. It’s been gettin’ all yellowed out nicely in its 35 years. Patina for days. It’s been my main backup for 4 years now, sometimes even my main for months over my old Gibson LPC. I bought it from a pro tech from Portland about 4 years ago who set it up, it has incredibly low and amazing action. It has Dunable pickups with black covers. It has a couple 16ths of an inch more width at the headstock and thickness over the body compared to my Gibson LP Custom. I measured it. You can even seem to see it in the pics. I’ve updated the tuning heads to Grover Roto-matics. It has a sliver of finish missing and the bottom of the body, and a couple little nicks for a cool light relic look.
Bought it with the ‘B*tch’ and ‘Moan’ pickup selector ring (pictured) This guitar is nnnot light at over 9+pounds.
Bottom line, it’s an a*s kicker.
Crushing low end if you want it, tons of clarity and warmth as well. It’ll do any style or genre in spades.
Feel free to give it a test drive (with no pressure to buy) before I change my mind about selling it.
Will absolutely keep up with current production non-custom shop Gibson USA LPCs, and at 1/3 of the price.
Gator hardshell case included.
Firm. No trades atm please.
Will ship at buyer’s cost.
Venmo/Paypal/Cash App/Zelle.
Thanks for lookin’.
Rocknroll. 🤘
