Treder Bobs Music LLC offers a, 1960 Conn Bb Director, Shooting Star model Cornet. Serial number 853399, 1960 production. Very good condition. Original brass lacquer, two tone finish. Very minor wear on the finish. A few small dings, and a very slight, ripple around the logo on the bell. There is a repaired, (dent removal) area near the lower bend on the bell pipe, (see pictures), nothing detrimental to the playing of the instrument. There are copper spots on the lead pipe, around the "Director" title. Two separate sections of the lead pipe are nickel plated. The mouthpiece is a "Herco", but I cannot find a number on it. There are 5 tuning slides, all work as they should. The small ones "Pop" nicely when pulled fast. The three piston valves are in great working order. Spit valves work fine. The tweed faced hard case it he original to this horn. In great shape, hinges and latches all work as they should. Sorry I do not have the lyre. Study the pictures, as they are part of the description. Ask questions, if you have any. Thanks for looking.
