Up for sale is a 2011 PRS 25th Anniversary Hollowbody II in Purple Iris — one of the rarer and most striking colors from the 25th Anniversary run, on a factory-designated 10-top with the LR Baggs/PRS piezo system. This is the fully loaded version of PRS’s most popular hollow instrument, from a limited anniversary year with appointments that never returned to the standard line.

Condition

This guitar has been well cared for and plays beautifully. Cosmetically it shows only light surface scratching from normal handling — nothing through the clear coat, no dings, chips, cracks, or finish checking on the guitar itself. Frets are in excellent shape with no notable wear. The neck is straight, the action is low, and the piezo and magnetic systems both function perfectly.

The original anniversary white case shows honest travel wear — a few nicks in the leather covering and some light surface cracking on the exterior. The case is structurally solid and fully functional; the guitar finish itself is free of any checking.

Why This One

The Hollowbody II has been the crown of the PRS semi-hollow/hollow line for over two decades, and the 25th Anniversary version added the shadow birds, bound board, and special color palette for one year only. Purple Iris examples with the 10-top and piezo don’t surface often. Acoustically resonant, feedback-resistant, and endlessly versatile — jazz, blues, worship, studio work, or anywhere you’d otherwise need to bring two instruments.
