Yamaha makes quality instruments. I am the original owner. It has nail marks on the pickguard, but the original protective film is still on. Light scratches on the body from normal use. Hard to see. It has been my goto practice bass. No deeper scratches or dings. Yamaha craftsmanship: it has a six bolt neck joint. It has a five ply laminated neck mahogany/maple. Stability, stays in tune. Strings through the body – more sound transfer. Neck, bridge pickup volume knobs, tone knob-basic electronics - in good working order. Smoke free home, never gigged. Manual and neck tool included. NO CASE.
