Schecter C-1 FR-S Apocalypse Electric Guitar in Red Reign
The C-1 FR-S Apocalypse combines a thin, fast neck profile with set-neck construction that rewards extended playing sessions across all 24 frets. This machine is purpose-built for high-gain and experimental contexts where harmonic control and locking tremolo stability define the experience. The Red Reign finish sits on a responsive Swamp Ash platform reinforced with carbon fiber, delivering both sustain and upper-fret accessibility.
Playability & Construction
The thin "C" neck contour and 25.5" scale length provide seamless access to all frets via Ultra Access set-neck design. A Maple/Padauk multi-ply neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods ensures stability during aggressive use, while the Ebony fretboard with glow-in-the-dark side dot markers and 12"–16" compound radius keep single-note lines and chords playing smoothly. 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets resist wear and maintain consistent action over time.
Tone & Electronics
The Sustainiac neck pickup system paired with a dedicated Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI bridge pickup delivers both traditional pickup switching and harmonic sustainment control through three switchable modes: Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic. Independent Volume, Tone, and Intensity controls plus a 3-way pickup switch let you dial in everything from tight rhythm tones to sustained, experimental textures. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and nut hold tuning reliably across extended tremolo use, and Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners deliver precise pitch control.
