Overview
In the early '70s, Gibson introduced the SG I and SG II which were budget versions of the SG Standard using various hardwoods for neck and body (maple and alder), a fixed wraparound bridge/tailpiece and mini-humbucker pickups. The cherry sunburst finish SG III can be found here.
